Since 1880, my family in Iran has cultivated and sold saffron under the name “Chef’s Signature Spice Line”. For us, saffron isn’t just a crop; it’s our lifeblood. As my grandfather often says, "Our blood runs redder than most, for it is infused with the pure essence of saffron."
It all began with my great-great-grandfather in the heart of Iran, where saffron thrives in the rich soil and dry climate. He meticulously hand-harvested each thread, turning his craft into a family legacy. Over time, our dedication to quality made our saffron a symbol of excellence. My father expanded this legacy by adopting sustainable farming practices, honoring both the land and our traditions.
As our business flourished, we expanded our portfolio to include other premium spices such as white, green and black cardamom, cumin, fennel, and more. Each addition followed the same principles of quality and care that defined our saffron, making “Chef’s Signature Spice Line” a trusted name in the world of spices.
Today, our Iranian saffron and spices grace kitchens worldwide, each product carrying over 140 years of devotion. As wholesalers, we typically remain behind the scenes, supplying food factories that repackage our products under their own brands. While this arrangement worked well, I was disheartened to learn that some customers diluted our pure saffron with fillers to increase weight. Though it didn’t harm our reputation, I felt a deep responsibility to offer consumers the authentic experience of pure saffron.
This inspired me to launch our online store, bringing genuine Persian saffron and spices directly to individual consumers. Having worked with countless ingredients, I can confidently say that none captivate like saffron.
